Where there are Glass Lakes….usually, there are Waterfalls.
The hike to Morrell falls was nothing short of breathtaking, and not just because I am an asthmatic from below sea level who’s never seen a real one. For the most part my mind and body had kicked into the routine, even altitude. The laundry gets a day everywhere if you stay there long enough- and pack light. The ‘I guess I live here now’ instinct kicked on, and I personally can start just being comfortable because I have no other choice…More on that later.
Maybe my heart was hidden somewhere in the Mountains and waterfalls for me to still find. Who really knows?
Regardless, have you ever felt like you’re with someone that the whole Universe ripped itself open to drop into your life? How about a couple of them?? A few? It might just be that hard to find my people. Especially my best friend. She’s all of it and then some. My favorite for sure, and I love her like I do all my people.
Like a butterfly loves the sun.

But I know specifically if she and I were allowed to be with each other too long the fabric of reality might just split right open. I’m probably being dramatic again, and this is my expression of waterfalls.
Imagine if I was allowed to fall? Effortlessly like water. I digress. Once you tell your story a few times- it gets shorter- But with those with eyes to read, the detail remains the same. Simply put:
Waterfalls.

Chasing waterfalls is a notably marvelous idea, but an even better goal- especially for a flatlander like me. See a Real Waterfall: Check.
Road Trip half way across the state on other business and stumble across a second?

Be like water, my friends.
